Andrea Penners

Andrea has 30+ years experience in photography. Starting with film developing and printing in high school and college. She’s familiar with both 35mm and medium format cameras, gradually moving into the digital format. 


She was the recipient of the 2013 Sundial Film Festival Photography Award. Served as president for both Shingletown Shutter Clickers and Shasta Photo Club. In 2016 was Chairman of the North Valley Art League (NVAL) Regional Photo Show in Redding and 2016 Co-Chair of the International Photography Show “Images form a Glass Eye”. The last few years leading the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walks in the north state. 


Her love of photography has taken her to many locations, i.e. southwest, northwestern states, Western Canada, and most recently South Africa.


In 2009 she discovered sports photography through Duane Brovan’s Nor Cal Sports Images and photographed local youth sports for several years. Later they opened a portrait studio in Shingletown, CA.


In 2019 she was a salesperson for Crown Camera in Redding until the store closed.
